I adore this sweet family! I have known them for quite sometime through shooting their photos. They braved the cold weather and we made some beautiful family photos happen! Their adorable boys are growing up so fast. They are cutie pies! I can’t wait to see them again in the future.
Swooning over here about Taylor and Franky’s wedding. It was a rainy October day but that didn’t stop us from making beautiful magical photos. Their wedding was held at Black Fox Farms. The colors were stunning outside as we have had a beautiful Fall season here in Tennessee this year. The wedding was held inside the beautifully decorated barn that is so enchanting. Just before guests starting arriving the rain cleared so we were able to shoot photos outside in the crisp Fall air. There was a beautiful overcast of clouds that gave off stunning light to everyones pretty warm skin tones. Taylor the bride was breath taking as she walked down the isle. Her dress truly was made just for her. A favorite in my eyes! After vows were exchanged and the kiss Taylor and Franky made their way down the isle into the reception where everyone ate, danced, laughed and had such a good time. It was my last wedding of the 2017 season and it was a beautiful one! I am so glad they chose me to document their gorgeous day! Congrats Franky and Taylor!
I have known Brooke since she was a junior in high school. That is when I shot her senior school portraits. It is always a cool feeling when you get a phone call a few years down the road asking if you can do another photo shoot for someone. Especially when it was one of your seniors who is now going to be getting married! Which in this case would be the beautiful Brooke!
Brooke & Justin were married on August 4th 2017, at Tennessee River Place . It was a perfectly beautiful day. The forecast was calling for rain but luckily we never saw any the entire day. There was beautiful sun shining down in the valley in between the mountains along the rivers edge. Everything was lush and green around the venue. There was laughter through out the air as the day unfolded.
Brooke and her bridesmaids were the perfect image of bohemian, whimsical land mermaids. They all wore their flower crowns and each dress accented the next perfectly with the colors ranging from pale blushes, creams, tans, whites and greens. Justin and his groomsmen were tucked away in the grooms sweet hanging out and having fun. Each one wore bright colored fun socks. Before Justin and his groomsmen went out to take photos they said a prayer and all gathered around Justin. You could feel a peace come over the groom and a calmness as if God had his hand on everyone in the room. It was such an awesome moment during the day just to stop and pray and thank God for all he has done for Brooke and Justin through out their lives and leading them up unto this point.
The ceremony was in the early evening. Flower petals aligned the chairs that were sitting in the grass along the walk way. Verses from the bible were written on wooden signs all along the isle. Guests arrived and took their seats and the ceremony started. The brides maids and groomsmen were flawless. The flower girls were so effortlessly adorable and Brooke was breath taking. As soon as Justin put his eyes on her he lit up like the morning sky line. Their vows were exchanged and I do’s were said. Broke and Justin sealed it with a kiss and their adventure as husband and wife had begun.
The reception followed after the ceremony and it was memorable for sure! The mother son and father daughter dance was a huge surprise to all guests when they had a choreographed routine to music. It was so fun! Dinner was served and open dancing began. Laughs echoed into the night air while music bumped late into the night. So many memories were made on that wonderful day. The night ended with a sparkler exit into a limo. Congrats Brooke and Justin! May you live happily ever after!

I met Caitlin and Sean at the 2016 Bridal show. They booked with me in the summer of 2016 and then we shot their engagement session in the Fall of 2016. Their engagement session was held in down town Chattanooga Tennessee. We also drove up to sunset rock and shot some pretty epic portraits there as well. By far one of my favorite engagement sessions!
Fast forward to July 2017 which is when their wedding was. My second shooter and I loaded up the car Friday morning and hit the road to shoot Caitlin and Sean’s wedding in Indiana. I love a good road trip! I marked a few things off my personal bucket list on this weekend get away! On the way up we stopped at the Louisville, Kentucky horse track known as Church Hill Downs. It was SO COOL! I was in heaven. If you know me you know my love for horses. Caitlin and Sean got married in a little town outside of Indianapolis settled in the middle of corn fields. You know those fly over states Jason Aldean sings about… YUP! That’s where we were. It is normally a quiet little town but their wedding date was July 2nd which was 4th of July weekend. So the town as a hopping!
We arrived into town late Friday night and got up early Saturday morning to get that day started at their wedding venue The Barn At Kennedy Farm. It was BEAUTIFUL. Corn fields surrounded us with mature trees that gave amazing shade and set the scene just perfectly. A cool breeze swept through the air which was nice on a July day. Caitlin arrived a little later after we explored the venue and shot detail photos. She was just glowing when she got there. She gave her girls her gifts and then was swept upstairs to step into her fairy tale dress. SWOON! That dress was MADE FOR HER! Gorgeous. Later Sean arrived hung out for a little bit and then the bride and groom gifts were exchanged. It was beyond sweet. I was literally wiping tears from my eyes at the site of both gifts because of Caitlins and Sean’s reaction. Their love for each other is so special. The thought and time put into each other! I adore it. I do.
Caitlin and Sean did not have a first look. They kept it traditional and saw each other for the first time walking down the isle and it was perfect in my eyes. The bride and groom exchanged vows and had their first kiss beneath big oak trees tucked away at the back of the property. After the important part was over the dinner was served and reception fun began! Toasts were given, cake was cut and some sweet dance moves were made on that dance floor! At the end of the evening as they made their grand exit under sparklers the limo was pulling up and fireworks exploded into the night sky. It was truly an amazing day! I loved their wedding. A true fairy tale! Congrats Caitlin and Sean! I am so very happy for you.
I have known Mary Margaret and Jonathan since they booked with me last year for their May 2017 wedding. We shot their engagement session last Fall in 2016 and it was absolutely stunning. Cloud coverage for days with a storm rolling in. Crisp Fall air. I just knew from their engagement session that their wedding was going to be amazing. The love these 2 have for each other is like a love story. I was right. It was! Mary Margaret and Jonathan were married on a beautiful May afternoon in Chattanooga, TN. The girls bridal party got ready for the wedding at a hotel in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, TN. Once Mary’s hair and make up were finished and her dress was slipped on Mary Margaret and SBP photographers headed up to Lookout mountain to shoot their first look and private vows before the ceremony. Jonathan was at the park awaiting his future brides arrival. He was smiling from ear to ear! This was so very special. Their first look was held at a secret little park tucked away by a wooded rocky bluff with a quiet creek running down the side of Lookout mountain. It was small and quiet. There was sunshine and cloud coverage with a light breeze on the side of a bluff view. Perfect location for this sweet couple. Once the first look was complete and private vows were exchanged (and I, Skye wiped my happy tears) the rest of the bridal party joined us at the park to shoot their portraits. With time to spare we all caravanned down the mountain to The Peyton Venue where the ceremony and reception took place. I personally enjoyed their ceremony because it told the story of how they met up to thus point which brought them in front of their closest family and friends to say their “I Do’s” and celebrate such a wonderful day and future life together as husband and wife. Jonathan kissed his bride and the party began! The reception was accented with bronze, golds, pinks and silvers. Wooden chairs with white table clothes gave it such an elegant yet simple airy feeling to the evening. Super fun family and friends at this wedding! It was so heart felt and I personally wanted to be adopted into their family. Congrats to Mary Margaret and Jonathan!
Brad and Shereen were married on a beautiful June afternoon at the foot of Lookout Mountain. Their ceremony and reception was held at Stratton Hall. Shereen looked like a bride from a magazine. Stunning from head to toe. Her dress fit her like it was made just for her! The wedding day atmosphere was fun and full of love. The venue was decorated with copper tones, golds and lovely hints of lush green florals that accented pale pinks and tans. They said their vows and danced the night away. Their bridal party had some dance moves that had everyone laughing. Brad and Shereen danced to a Michael Jackson song that turned everyones heads and I’m sure had a few in awe of their chemistry. I am so happy for this week couple! Congrats Brad and Shereen!
I have known Brittany and Daniel since high school. When Brittany hired me to shoot her wedding I knew it was going to be beautiful and fun! I shot Brittany and Daniels engagement session at some gorgeous locations on their family’s property back in the earlier part of the Summer. They were so easy to work with during that time. I was so excited for their wedding day to arrive. Their wedding was in August and it was a warm Summer day with rain in the forecast. They are huge Tennessee football fans so of course everything was decked out in the most fabulous shade of orange. YAY! GO VOLS! Hair was done, and make up was finished, Brittany’s dress fit her to a T! Perfection. Happy tears were shed, vows were made and I do’s were said. After the ceremony the rain started pouring but passed within minutes. There was an overcast sky and a slight breeze which set the mood for perfect bride and groom portraits! There was amazing food, cakes and drinks galore. It was a celebration for sure! Everyone danced the night away. I couldn’t be happier for Brittany and Daniel! Congrats to the 2 of you!!!!
Andy and Meredith were married on a warm summer day in June. The wind was blowing and green was everywhere. A perfect day in the south! Meredith put a lot of time and details into her wedding day. She had an awesome wedding planner which helped a lot. She kept everything on track. Her name is Cheryl Hyland with Blissful Moments Wedding & Events. Meredith and her mom got ready at a darling little log cabin up on lookout mountain. Sheets were hung to dry outside in the warm sunshine. What a peaceful place! Meredith had some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever had the change to photograph. Their florist was Fox and Fern. Her brides maids were dressed in purple flowing dresses. Light and airy! Andy and Meredith exchanged their vows and said their “I do’s” at The Church Of the Good Shepherd on lookout mountain. They had a reception following the ceremony at the Lookout Mountain Fairyland Club . Everyone ate, laughed and danced the night away. It could not have been more perfect for these sweet souls! Congrats Andy and Meredith!
Jill and Parker’s wedding was far more beautiful then I had ever imagined. The 2 1/2 hour drive up to the mountains of Clayton, Georgia was beyond worth it. I would drive hundreds of thousands of miles to capture beauty like this. The chemistry Jill and Parker have is so sweet. They are real, really in love! Their love is authentic and romantical, light hearted and sweet. Their love is what I believe everyone in life is looking for if they haven’t already found it. Jills laugh is infectious! The way Parker looks at her when she smiles and laughs made my heart so dang happy, y’all! Watching the day unfold behind my lens made me once again realize I am so in love with my job and what I do. I feel blessed that this couple chose me to document such a beautiful and important day in their lives. Really! I’m a lucky gal!
Jill and Parker were married at the Waterfall Club in Clayton, Ga. which sits on the top of a mountain over looking Burton Lake. The air was crisp and light on this beautiful day in May. The wind blew through the trees and clouds just to make it perfectly comfortable for the day. Jill’s dress was delicate with tiny sparkle details. Parker wearing a tux that he looked so snazzy in. Their ceremony and reception was intimate with close family and friends by their sides to celebrate with. Jill and Parker said their vows, their “I do’s”, ate mouth watering foods, delicious sweet cake, and danced the night away. The details throughout the day just show how much time and love was put into making this day perfect for Jill and Parker. Both of their families are amazing. Such sweet people. Each and everyone of them. By the end of the night I think my second shooter and myself wanted to be adopted by them! People and weddings like this make me love my job even more than I already do. Congrats Jill and Parker! May you live happily ever after you beautiful humans!
